Félix de Moya-Anegón
Principal researcher and founder of SCImago
Doctor from the University of Granada since 1992, he is the main researcher and founder of the SCImago Group with projects of international impact in the evaluation of scientific activity such as the Atlas of Science, Scimago Journal & Country Rank-SJR and Scimago Institutions Rankings (with Elsevier-Scopus). In parallel to his work as a manager since 1989, first as dean of the then Faculty of Library Science and Documentation and then as vice-rector, his profile as a researcher and scientific analyst has led him to work at the CSIC, to develop multiple e-learning projects within the European framework and to establish alliances with numerous Spanish and Latin American institutions. Félix de Moya-Anegón (Ciudad Real, 1955) has published dozens of works in prestigious international journals (more than 150) and, in recent years, he has been developing relevant activity as a consultant for international organizations such as the World Bank or the OECD. In 2022, he has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Extremadura.
Ramón Salaverría
Researcher University of Navarra
Professor of Journalism at the University of Navarra, he directs the Iberifier project, an Iberian observatory for the study of digital media and disinformation, promoted by the European Commission. He is also chairman of the Council of Europe's Committee of Experts on Increasing Media Resilience and headed ECREA's Journalism Studies Section. He is one of the leading global experts in the study of online media and digital journalism. Ramón Salaverría (Burgos, 1970) is the author of more than 250 publications including books, scientific articles, reports and conferences. His most recent books as editor are Ciberperiodismo en Iberoamérica (2016) and, as co-editor, Journalism, Data and Technology in Latin America (2021) andDigital native media in Spain: characterization and trends (2021).
Lluís Codina
Pompeu Fabra University Researcher
Professor and researcher at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, he is co-director of the Cybermedia Observatory (OCM), co-founder of the scientific journal Hipertext.net and coordinator of the Journalism and Digital Documentation Research Unit. He teaches in the Faculty of Communication, in the Degrees of Journalism and Audiovisual Communication, as well as in the master’s degree in Research at (MUIC) and in the master's degree in New Interactive Media and Multimedia Journalism at the University of Granada. Lluís Codina (Barcelona, 1955) is the author of some 200 publications and a dozen books (as author or co-author) in his specialty, being a very active researcher in monitoring and curating content in various fields such as innovation in journalism, media visibility and positioning (SEO).
Magdalena Trillo-Domínguez

With a degree in Journalism from the University of Malaga and a doctorate in Communication from the University of Granada, she has been combining her professional activity with teaching for more than twenty years. For 13 years she has been the director of the newspaper 'Granada Hoy' (when she was appointed in 2008 she was the first woman to hold the position in Grupo Joly, the first woman director of a newspaper in Andalusia and one of the youngest in Spain) and , as of 2018, has been in charge of the Digital Transformation project of the leading publishing group in Andalusia, a task that continues as an external consultant and as an opinion columnist for the nine Joly newspapers. Specialized in Digital Journalism and Master in Cultural Management from the UOC, her main lines of research are journalistic innovation, the exploration of new genres, transmedia formats and narratives and the application of scientometric techniques to the media field. Magdalena Trillo-Domínguez (Rute, Córdoba, 1975) has collaborated in RTVA's debate spaces for more than a decade and, since 2021, she has been an analyst of political and social news on Spanish Television (RTVE). In 2017 she was distinguished by the Junta de Andalucía with the Meridiana Award for Equality; in 2016 and 2018 she was included by the magazine Yo Dona is on the list of the 500 most influential women in Spain and, in 2022, she has been recognized with the Villa de Rute Award.
Isidro F. Aguillo-Caño

Responsible for the Cybermetrics Laboratory of the Center for Social and Human Sciences of the CSIC, he has edited the electronic journal 'Cybermetrics' since 1997 and since 2004 has directed the creation of the World University Web Ranking. He is the author of numerous publications on the processes of scientific communication through the Internet, the development of science and technology web indicators and the presence of Spanish in the academic "webspace". In addition, he is a member of various scientific committees of international journals and conferences. In 1996 he was chosen 'Personality of the Year' by a vote of Spanish documentary filmmakers, in 2009 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of Indonesia and, in 2015, he received his second Honorary Doctorate by the Moscow National Nuclear Research University (MEPHI). ), in 2021 he received the Honorary Medal from the IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence. Isidro F. Aguillo Caño (Haro, La Rioja, 1963), has a degree in Biology (specializing in Zoology) from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master's in Information and Documentation (first edition) from the Carlos III University of Madrid. He has taught and lectured at more than 100 universities around the world.
Yusef Hassan-Montero
Data Experience Designer
Interaction designer specialized in data visualization, an area in which he has been working for nearly two decades. Doctor in Documentation and Scientific Information, he has been working professionally since 2004 as a consultant and interaction designer, collaborating closely with Scimago Lab on massive data visualization projects. Yusef Hassan Montero (Granada, 1978) teaches at the International University of La Rioja (UNIR) on Information Design. He has led the design and development of SCImago Graphica, a powerful no-code data analysis and visualization tool.
